    Project Description

Shaft House and Engine Mount Parts.
    Material: 7075-T7531 aluminum.
    Finishing: Anodizing and Power coating.
Parts machining process: CNC machining, Surface finishing.
Parts size: Engine Mount and House around 360*280*75mm.

Production Capability For Aeroplane Parts CNC Machined Manufacturer

    • Own 5 sets 5-axis CNC machining centers and 8 3+2 axis CNC milling machines.
    • 2 sets slow-EDM, 2 sets larger Lathe, and 2 sets grinding machines under 0.005mm tight tolerance.
    • The secondary finishing including anodizing, power coating and more.

What’s The Project Challenge For The Projects?

The main challenge is the product thickness is 60-90mm, and feature is heteroideus, and all of parts need be assembled and make function purposed.

Our engineering team have to use extended cutting tool, and 5 axis and 3+2 axis CNC milling machine to complete them, when we have rotated the different angle, all of these holes thread holes is precision, and need be assembled.

How To Understand and Make The Parts?

First, we conducted a careful design overview to understand the parts and suggest improvements when possible. Then, we applied Positive Material Identification (PMI) to test the composition of the alloys used in the tools and parts.

    Fabricating The Prototypes

The first run of prototypes was CNC machined from aluminum in a 5-step process:

    1. CNC Program the Machines
    2. Engineering Review and Improve the Codes
    3. Mount the Workpiece on the Machine and Adjust the Setup
    4. Monitor Production and All Functions
    5. Do adjustment the Cutting Programs When Necessary

These practices are typically repeated in any CNC machining project, the cutting programs used are unique for each part. We had to consider things like machine type, part geometry, tool type, and raw material.

The prototypes were sent to our model shop and our trusted partners for polishing to achieve a reflective and shiny appearance, powder coating to achieve a more durable protective finish, and silver anodizing to create a beautiful clear finish that enhances resistance to corrosion and wear.

How To Develop and Manufacturing CNC Machining Aeroplane Parts

Most of the aeroplane parts’ CNC machined machining includes rapid prototype and volume production when we make the 2-4 prototype, the feature and material ask us to specified the material supplier, like 7075, 7475, 2024 and more.

Aeroplane parts need us to further consider the whole process from single part machining, surface coating, and assembly, this is one very complex process, so our engineer team need to make DFM report in details before production.

We are dedicated to rapid prototype and low volume production for aeroplane parts and provide fast feedback and delivery to you with high quality. These aeroplane feature ask us to use 5 axis CNC milling to complete.

When you have these aero parts CNC machined inquire or customized parts, you can send out inquire to below email address so our engineer team will discuss with you on each of production details, whatever you will ask 1pc or more 50pc, we make the best support to you based on cost-effective, tell us your requirement or expectation, our team will serve it for you. You can start a new project now.

What’s The Surface Finishing Can Be Done After CNC Machining?

After most of the aeroplane parts are CNC machined, we will provide good finishing like anodizing, powder coating and more.

Shaft House and engine mount parts, after CNC larger and lathe, we will have polishing and hard anodizing process to make it to aesthetic.

Tubes fitting: we have a 3+2 axis CNC machining center to complete and then do hard anodizing process to protect the surface.

    Customer’s Feedback & Exceeding Expectations

We will ship these parts to our customers for assembling and testing out, then get us timely comments for new parts improvement, will do next production more perfect and smoothly. At Creatingtec, we always keep closed work with customers together to improve, and learning knowledge, to support our global customers.

Creatingtec has the expertise and technology needed to bring your products to life accurately, quickly, and cost-effectively. Whether you’re in a rush or have a product with highly complex parts, submit your projects drawings (including 2D and 3D drawings), and our sales and engineering team will get in touch.

"We are very satisfied with the product quality and efficiency, from material specification, dimension inspection, till the final goods arrived. The team accomplished a great achievement. I will definitively recommend them."
