Precision-engineered solutions tailored for Malaysia's fastest-growing industries
We aim to delight our global customers with a highly flexible rapid prototype, precision CNC machining and plastic injection molding services. At 2010, Creatingtec Rapid Manufacturing Limited was started by two experienced mechanical engineers with an extensive background in precision machining and plastic injection mold tool manufacture. With an initial investment in two CNC machines, we quickly expanded our manufacturing capabilities to include CNC machining, injection molding, and molding production shop in our 2000mยฒ manufacturing facility.
Located in Wuhan, and with customers from all over the world โ including a rapidly growing client base in Malaysia โ we have amassed extensive experience in developing hardware and components. We have a wide range of experience producing parts and complete products with varying levels of complexity from many different industries.
Under our ISO9001-2005 Quality Management System, we have developed robust and reliable procedures for managing projects. We have five inspectors that not only perform first-article, in-process, and final inspection, but they also work side by side with our shop floor staff to ensure that we meet our customers' requirements.

Malaysia is rapidly emerging as one of Southeast Asia's leading hubs for advanced manufacturing and metal additive technology
Malaysia's manufacturing sector contributes over 23% of GDP, with the government's Industry4WRD initiative actively encouraging adoption of metal 3D printing across aerospace, automotive, and electronics sectors. Penang, Selangor, and Johor Bahru are key industrial corridors driving demand.
With companies like Airbus, Boeing, and Spirit AeroSystems operating in Malaysia, the demand for precision metal 3D printed components โ including titanium brackets, engine housings, and structural parts โ has surged significantly in recent years.
PETRONAS and its supply chain partners are increasingly turning to metal additive manufacturing for producing complex valve components, heat exchangers, and custom subsea parts, reducing lead times from weeks to days while maintaining strict quality standards.
Malaysia's medical device industry, concentrated in Penang and Kuala Lumpur, is leveraging metal 3D printing for surgical instruments, orthopedic implants, and dental prosthetics, supported by the country's growing biomedical manufacturing capabilities.
Proton, Perodua, and international automotive OEMs in Malaysia are adopting metal 3D printing for rapid prototyping of EV battery housings, lightweight structural components, and custom tooling โ accelerating Malaysia's shift towards electric mobility.
Universities like UTM, UM, and UPM are investing in metal additive manufacturing research labs, producing a new generation of engineers skilled in SLM, DMLS, and EBM technologies โ strengthening Malaysia's long-term industrial competitiveness.
Understanding the forces shaping the future of additive manufacturing across Malaysian industries
Malaysia's National Industry4WRD Policy is accelerating smart factory adoption. Metal 3D printing is being integrated with IoT sensors, AI-driven quality control, and digital twin technology to create fully connected, intelligent production ecosystems across Selangor and Penang industrial parks.
Post-pandemic, Malaysian manufacturers are reducing reliance on overseas suppliers by investing in local metal 3D printing capabilities. This trend is creating significant opportunities for companies offering on-demand metal part production with fast turnaround times.
Increasing availability of advanced metal powders โ including titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel 316L, and aluminum โ is enabling Malaysian manufacturers to produce high-performance parts for extreme environments, particularly in aerospace and oil & gas applications.
MIDA (Malaysian Investment Development Authority) and MDEC are offering tax incentives and grants for companies adopting advanced manufacturing technologies including metal additive manufacturing, making Malaysia an increasingly attractive destination for high-tech production investment.
Metal 3D printing generates up to 90% less material waste compared to traditional subtractive machining. As Malaysian companies face increasing ESG pressure, additive manufacturing is being adopted as a key strategy for achieving sustainability and carbon reduction targets.
The shift from mass production to mass customization is reshaping Malaysian manufacturing. Metal 3D printing enables cost-effective production of highly customized parts in small batches โ ideal for Malaysia's diverse industrial landscape spanning multiple specialized sectors.
