- Material: PC+ABS, PC, 7075 and 6063 aluminum.
- Finishing: Plastic parts with SPI18, and aluminum parts with anodizing and silk-screen.
- Parts machining process: Injection tooling, extrusion tooling, CNC machining, turning and surface finishing.
- Parts size: 150*50*25mm.
5 sets 5-axis CNC machining centers, 8 sets 3+2 axis CNC milling machines, 10 sets 3-axis CNC machining, CNC turning and 8 sets injection machines.
2 sets slow-EDM, 2 sets larger Lathe, and 2 sets grinding machines under 0.005mm tight tolerance.
Secondary finishing including anodizing, powder coating and more.
Full in-house production capability from raw material to finished assembly, supporting prototype to mass production.
What's The Project Challenge For The Projects?
The main challenge is the whole projects including plastic, metal and electronic devices assembly. The product parts appearance requirement is very high, ask us to inspect 100% without any flaw, and aluminum parts ask to make more 7 different anodizing colors without any colors distinction, then assembly with plastic parts. The final assembly that customers offers us the electronic devices for testing out and assembly.

How To Understand and Make The Whole Project?
First, Creatingtec team conducted a careful design overview to understand the parts and suggest improvements when possible. Then, we make the product DFM and project purposed report for review before production.
The first run of prototypes was CNC machined from aluminum in a 5-step process:
- 1 CNC Program the Machines and Vacuum casting process.
- 2 Engineering Review and Revise The Production Process.
- 3 Mount the Workpiece on the Machine and Adjust the Setup.
- 4 Monitor Production and All Functions.
- 5 Do adjustment to the Cutting and Casting Programs When Necessary.
These practices are typically repeated in any CNC machining project and casting process; the cutting programs used are unique for each part. We had to consider things like machine type, part geometry, tool type, raw material, and steel materials.
In our prototype workshop, our mechanician will make the prototype succeed, and offers production feasible suggestions.
How To Develop and Manufacturing Injection Tooling Parts
Most of the consumer electronics products including the plastic parts, metal parts, and electronic devices three parts then assembly together. At the stage of prototype for plastic parts, the product feature is very complex, so we have to use 5-axis CNC machining center, or vacuum casting process to achieve. Of course, the product appearance includes better appearance, like anodizing, powder coat, silk-screen and more.
Injection tooling parts ask us to further consider the whole process from single part machining, surface coating, and assembly — this is one very complex process.

What's The Surface Finishing Can Be Done After CNC Machining and Injection Parts?
After most of the electronic device parts are CNC machined and plastic tooling, we will provide good finishing options:
Anodizing

Silk-Screen
Support and Cover Parts: CNC machining or Vacuum casting process for prototypes; injection tooling for mass production.
Enclosure: For prototype and low-volume production, a 5-axis CNC machining center is used, followed by hard anodizing to protect the surface. For mass production, plastic tooling is used to complete.
